Harrington UK Rare Disease Scholar Award

Harrington Discovery Institute® is issuing a call for proposals in the UK for a new grant award programme to advance promising research into novel treatments for rare diseases. Modelled after its US programmes, Harrington Discovery Institute is providing UK researchers with a unique opportunity for funding and personalised discovery and development support. The two-year Harrington Scholar programme includes £100,000 guaranteed, with the potential to qualify for additional acceleration funding up to £500,000.

ADDF-Harrington Scholar Award

The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) and Harrington Discovery Institute®  have partnered to accelerate the translation of academic discoveries into medicines for treating, preventing, or curing patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The ADDF-Harrington Scholar Award provides dedicated support from a project management team and pharmaceutical industry experts, as well as funding of up to $600,000 for 2 years.

Harrington UK Rare Disease Programme - Next Call Coming Early 2022

Submission Instructions:

  • Please go to the Harrington Discovery Institute SmartSimple application portal.
  • On the home page, click the “Register Here” button and complete the applicant registration. Then log into your account.
  • Once logged in, click the “My Profile” button to input or update your contact information.
  • Click the “Home” button to return to the home page.
  • Click the “Apply Now” button to complete and submit your full application.
